| Note: For this calculator, a “healthier weight” is a Body Mass Index (BMI) less than 30. The “best weight” is a BMI less than 25. To determine calorie goals for a healthier weight and the best weight, this calculator uses current height, age a year from now, and goal weight. It uses this to calculate an individual’s resting energy expenditure (REE). |
