- Begin comprehensive rehabilitation program
--- Patient is appropriate for comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation and is  
admitted to PRC. It is anticipated that patient will be able to participate  
in an intensive rehabilitation therapy program consisting of at least 3 hours 
of  therapy at least 5 days per week with an ability to make significant  
functional gains in a reasonable timeframe with an intensive and coordinated  
interdisciplinary rehab approach. The patient requires the active and ongoing 
therapeutic intervention of multiple therapy disciplines with close physician 
supervision and 24 hr nursing care following recent medical course.  
--- Physical Therapy: Impaired functional mobility, strength and endurance. 
--- Occupational Therapy: Impaired ADL and IADL management, upper extremity  
strength & dexterity and ability to perform self-care tasks.  
--- Speech Therapy: To address cognitive/communication defecits  
--- Recreation Therapy: engage in therapeutic atctivities as appropriate. 
--- Rehab nursing: medication management, bowel and bladder care, skin breakdown  
prevention 
--- Neuropsychology as needed 
--- Optometry as needed 
--- Psychology / family therapy services as needed
