SBP < 90, MAP < 65, or SBP decrease >40 from baseline_
Oxygen requirement_
Cr > 2 or UOP < 0.5 ml/kg/hr_
PLT < 100_
INR > 1.5 _
Bilirubin > 2_
Lactate > 2_
   
Severe Sepsis Treatment:
Blood cultures x 2 with lactate sent before broad spectrum antibiotics initiated within 3 hours of recognition.
30 ml/kg IVF bolus completed
Repeat lactate ordered if > 2_
