Result letter – hemoglobin A1c

[textarea fillable=true]Hemoglobin A1c measures how well diabetes is controlled.  The goal for this test is less than 7.0.  Your result was ******.  It was ****** on the last check.  

Limiting intake of foods that are concentrated in sugar and starch can help bring this number down and get the diabetes under control.  When it is above 7.0 it should be checked every 3 months and if it's less than 7.0 it can be checked every 6 months.  I've requested a recheck of this test here.[/textarea]
