Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Patient reports excessive anxiety and worry occurring more days than not for at least six months, about a number of events or activities such as [text name="variable_1" default=""]. [select name="variable_1" value="He |She "] finds it difficult to control the worry. The anxiety and worry are associated with the following symptoms:

The worry and physical symptoms cause significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning. [select name="variable_2" value="He |She "] also reports that the anxiety is not attributable to the physiological effects of a substance (e.g., a drug of abuse, a medication) or another medical condition.
