# FLUIDS:
- Hypotonic IV solutions should not be given with exception being hyperosmolar states. 
— If patient becomes DEHYDRATED: Normal saline at 4 ml/h/kg for 1st 10kg, for 2nd 10kg and above that 1 cc/h/kg. 
- If patient requires MAINTENCE fluids: Normal Saline infusion rate @ 1-2cc/h/kg
