COPD Assessment Test (CAT)
1.	Cough (0-5): 0 (never coughing), 5 (coughing all the time)
2.	Phlegm (0-5): 0 (no phlegm in my chest), 5 (chest is full of phlegm)
3.	Chest Tightness (0-5): 0 (no chest tightness), 5 (severe chest tightness)
4.	Breathlessness (0-5): 0 (no breathlessness with walking uphill or 1 flight of stairs), 5 (very breathless walking uphill or 1 flight of stairs)
5.	Activities (0-5): 0 (no limitation in home activities), 5 (complete limitation in home allergies due to lung condition)
6.	Confidence (0-5): 0 (I can leave my home confidently), 5 (cannot leave home confidently due to lung condition)

8.	Energy (0-5): 0 (lots of energy), 5 (no energy at all)

CAT ≥10 corresponds to either GOLD Group B. Group B patients’ preferred treatment is to start either on LABA, or LAMA and if persistent symptoms then combination LAMA/LABA therapy—these are the minimum for patients with CAT Score ≥10.

CAT <10 corresponds to GOLD Group A. Group A patients’ preferred treatment is to start bronchodilator (LABA or LAMA) and evaluate the effect.
